dudes im not quite sure wots the difference between a standard 97 model vtr manifold and a miltec or gmc manifold ???
manifolds
-
#1
-
#2a miltek or gmc manifold have a lot better configuration and allow the gases to flow a lot better hence increasing horsepower. more gas out = more fuel and air in, vice versa!
-
#3and i have one for sale for the mk1 aswell
-
#4standard is cast and restrictive, normally has 4 pipes into 1 within a short distance.
aftermarket are normally 4-1 with 4 pipes that go all the way to the collector and join, if they are equal length and correct size they will give more power over the std setup. -
#5So what kind of increase are we looking at for a breather mod ???
Im not expecting you to say huge amounts if any at all
Just a rough idea -
#6exactly what you just said, probs get about 2 or so from an enclosed oneQuote:Originally Posted by DAZ1985So what kind of increase are we looking at for a breather mod ???

#7Define the term enclosed. Are you talking air filter or manifold ???
-
#8air filter such as green, BMC
-
#9i guess he means air filter mate, like a green enclosed or bmc, viper etc. get one of these with the manifold and ull notice a weee difference
-
#10Im on about manifolds. (they are also a breathing mod)
-
#11not sure about a vtr but when changed mine on my vts was very noticeble, freed it up know end
