manifolds

  1. #1
dudes im not quite sure wots the difference between a standard 97 model vtr manifold and a miltec or gmc manifold ???
  2. #2
a miltek or gmc manifold have a lot better configuration and allow the gases to flow a lot better hence increasing horsepower. more gas out = more fuel and air in, vice versa!
  3. #3
and i have one for sale for the mk1 aswell
  4. #4
standard is cast and restrictive, normally has 4 pipes into 1 within a short distance.

aftermarket are normally 4-1 with 4 pipes that go all the way to the collector and join, if they are equal length and correct size they will give more power over the std setup.

exactly what you just said, probs get about 2 or so from an enclosed one

Define the term enclosed. Are you talking air filter or manifold ???
  8. #8
air filter such as green, BMC
  9. #9
i guess he means air filter mate, like a green enclosed or bmc, viper etc. get one of these with the manifold and ull notice a weee difference
