My vtr mk2 has just started to make a weird howling noise (sounds abit like a sea lion
) when not in drive ie when in gear but no acceleration, with clutch in, when not in gear and just rolling. As soon as i touch the accelerator the noise goes away. I dont think this is a gear box problem as i have just had the gear box and clutch replaced due to makin a completely different noise!
Has anybody else had this problem or have any ideas as to what it might be?
