today while i was driving my car sudenly got really loud so i pulled over had a look around and noticed my lamda sensor the one after the cat has rusted and fallen off my exhaust leaveing a hole, is this simple to fix? do i just replace that section of pipe? will it be expensive to repair? am i ok to drive my car with is still hanging off, at the moment ive cable tied it to something to keep it away from the road and safe.

Lol you can drive it without the Sensor mate, I don't have any of mine plugged in. But you'll either have to plug the hole or replace the pipe and refit the sensor

My lambda sensor rusted out of the cat not so long ago. I ended up replacing the cat.

Can't imagine it causing you any problems as it is, the sound just drove me crazy!

If it's welded together then it's one pipe... There will be a join somehwere unless someone's beat you to it and welded it together lolll
