Scratches..

   Well went to watch Paranormal Activity 2 last night @ Cineworld. Parked up like you do go in watch the film come out and bang 4 inch long scratch on passenger side door, Its fairly deep can feel it with finger. Whats the best way of getting this out without ruining the paint work. thanks!

   Unlucky mate... If you can feel the scratch then there is no way of getting is out without respraying it. Because it's gone right through the clear coat. What you can do is make it less visible by getting a professional to machine polish it. This will not get rid of the scratch but make it 50% less visible.

   Well i cant see the metal underneath looks like its just the top coat as there stick a bit of blue i can see, Any easy options?

   as said before. if you can feel it theres no way with out a respray to get rid of it.. only thing you can try really is making it less visible

   Best thing to do is get a quote for a patch respray. A good body shop will be able to blend in the paint so you cant tell without having to respray the full panel which would be much more expensive

   get patch spray it wont be that expensive and will by 99% invisyble
