#2Have you looked into the JP4 engine from the c2 vts?
-
#3want to stay with the 8v mate unless there is a c2 witch has a 1.6 8v??
-
#4why would you put an older engine into a newer car? would it not make sence to get a c2 vtr engine?
-
#5not my car mate just asking for a mate! dont really know much about the c2 all saxo for me
from what i have been tolled the c2 vtr is still a 16v and he wants to stay 8v.
-
#6lol thats why I brought up the JP4.
Why put an old engine in a newer car, and if you are doing a conversion why not go 16V instead of 8?
Only thing I can think of is either he has a engine already, can get one cheap or its due to 'regulations' of events or something
Any particular reason he wants to stay 8V mate? -
#7this is what i have been saying to him myself! 16v all the way for me as i have just got one
but he just likes 8v for some reason
-
#8Strange lad
Is he on a C2 forum?
-
#9no he isnt mate thats why i said i would have a ask on here for him and see if anyone has any idea.
-
#10Tell him to get on www.c2sportsclub.com or www.c2club.co.uk
Might get more help on that mate.
There is a guide on here to put the JP4 into the saxo but probs wont help much lol -
#11ok mate i will do thanks. But if anyone does have a bit more info on this let me know please.

#12wiring would be a nightmare probs, they use a canbus interior loom etc so connecting up would be a pain, unless you could use his c2 1.1 loom and just plug a vtr ecu into it
but yea why not just go 16v tbh
