questionfor supercharged users

    is there any difference between kits for a vtr to a vts (supercharger is question is a Rotrex c30-74) only asking as ive been offered a supercharged vtr and if possible would rather transfer it to use on my vts, cheers rorz

    The rotrex kit gmc sell is advertised as a 16v/8v tu engine kit.

    difference is the plumbing notthing else.
    before you buy a s/h kit ,check what age the charger is ,as there have been 3 types over the last ten years .
    ,and if not a c30 type unit then be aware that the orginal s30 (engine oil type charger unit +the next gen sp30 type can no longer be rebuilt .
    dI am not saying they are crap --just not as good as later units ,,so value them accordlingly
    the c30 units have been made for last 6 years now and to date I have had NO failure of these units at all..
    all units fit to same brackets --best idea if you see one is give me a ring to clarfiy which type it is and which type of mounting bracket it is ,
    but all will fit all types of saxo tu5 engines
