How to decat 1.1 98' mk1 ?

   hiya read exhaust thread i know alot of you will think im sad doin it to a 1.1 but just want to for fun and i know wont pass MOT but just wondering how?
   
   Cant find decat pipes for 1.1 anywhere only cat back?
   
   In guide says just takes cat out and fill gap with pipe, does it mean just any you find lying around?

   any exhaust fitter will weld you up one, if its not in the manifold. car will pass mot with a decat aslong as the engine is healthy

   To the thread starter, your car will NOT pass an emissions test without your catalytic converter in your exhaust system.

   You can also buy a diesel centre section. The bore is a bit on the small side for the VTR but will not be an issue for your motor. Costs about £15 to £20 to buy and fitment is straightforward. (Fits between the end of the down pipe to the back box).
   
   PS I have used a diesel pipe on my Mk1 VTR and it was fine, more raspy and felt slightly fitter than with a cat.
