  2. #2
    prices we talking?
  3. #3
depends how many people we get. need to work out import taxes etc aswell. prob around the £60 - £70 mark.
  4. #4
    I could be interested.
  5. #5
are these actually cit/pug fitment rads? or just generic things, they look like a proper fitment? seems like a decent price
  6. #6
verry interested are they the sme size as vts ? just with thicker core ? im intrested just wonderin if it will catch my 4 branch ?
  7. #7
I'd be interested. Would it just be a straigt swap from a vts rad?
    Would need definate price though
  8. #8
106/saxo fitment. straight swap, 50mm core.
  9. #9
need at least 10 to place the order though.
  10. #10
balls!!!...... knew there was something i was gonna ask you about tonight lmao, seems like a decent piece of kit mate, you seen any used yet? also... it use standard mounts etc (looks as though it does) andd have you got an exact measure ment of width..

from all accounts the gap beween my turbo and rad is quite slim, do these stick out any more?

you got this in sale section too mate?
  11. #11
Ok get me a definite price posted and i'll put my name down...

I'm assuming its a pretty easy job fitting them?

    easy fitting
  13. #13
Sweet. It will be done the same time as i do my manni (when i get it)... need to get it off the road in the new year and finish track prepping it.
  14. #14
never seen any fitted before. they are 50mm wide. havent got it in for sale section. thought it would have more interest in here. i'll try get exact prices.

I think if people were sure that the extra thickness of the rad was not in the engine bay but towards the front of the car these would sell better! Seems too goood to be true at these prices as the GMC units are £100's and thats without the fan etc...

Shame they arent just the rad and then a header tank separately makes things alot more versatile.

Il keep my eye on this one at this price I might get rid of the nissens...
  16. #16
the price is very cheap i couldn,t buy a suitable core for that price --
,but what are all the extra connections on the header tank and you would have thought the promotional picture would show a unit without a bent mouning pin . and to be honest its pretty damn ugly with all the extra tank shapes stuck on

I suggest someone buys a single unit first and trys it even if the first one costs more - quality looks a bit IFFY --thats the only problem with chineese parts ,they can be poor quality control and definately no warranty --once you have it its yours.
you should also check carriage costs -
is this price FOB , at docks in china ?--

welds do seem a little messy, however i'd like to see one in the flesh as it has to be said that is VERY cheap!

will keep an eye on this one

theres plenty people using these on the nissans and vauxhalls etc. i wont be buying a single unit to try either as i dont have a saxo. the £70 i said above is delivered to uk. i need to check import dutys and delivery in uk before i can give a final price.
  19. #19
looks shite in the pic my apprentice can do better ally welding than that and he's only 16.

im confused, if you dont have a saxo and wont be buying one then why are you doing a group buy?
  21. #21
i dont know why everyones twisting about these tbh, they dont look that bad, as long as the dont leak your getting an aluminium rad for £70ish to you door, you cant even get a nissens new for that price, and alumium rad cool better, plus these look prettier then standard or nissens so whats the problem?

he wants to make a pound --nothing wrong with that --but being in biz means you have to give warranties, pay vat --something this seudo trader is not wanting to do .
yes they are cheap --if the product is good then the maker should be happy to send one at a slightly higher price as a sample .
    so who,s for trying one?
  23. #23
they are from the same supplier as the txautosport vauxhall rads, which people have been happy with. i have alot of interest in the png so will be doing the group buy there 1st.
john - how do you know what i am and am not wanting to do? i put this post up to gauge any interest, as i didnt want to spend the money on something i couldnt sell.
  24. #24
Marc I have a twin fan setup.
Would this be able to be bodged onto this or would I have to look at one of them slim fans.
  25. #25
what you mean? if its standard vts setup with extra fan it will go on fine. as its a replacement rad got vts/gti.
  26. #26
I only wondered why you were doing the group buy bud wasnt trying to insinuate anything just curious...

Get a price for a 1 off and let me know how much... I just might take the plunge first and see what they are like.

Its not like £70 is alot of money considering Ive spent in excess of £10k so far...
  27. #27
If you check the picture close you will see it has a rad mtg for the internal type that was fitted to a mk1 106 --not a saxo vts which has fans in frot of rad--so no its not a direct repalcement --it may fit but nothing like same shape and the rad cap fitting looks like a 1.4 type of cap --its screw on type --not a vts type .

Will my nissens screw on vts 1 bar cap fit the thread? or does it come with a 1 bar cap?

I made an aluminium bracket for my Pacet slimline fan so that part shouldnt be a problem
