Cold air intake

What's the best way to route it up from the bottom grill to an open cone filter?

Also would you just zip tie it to whatever you can to keep it in place or make brackets?

what you drive mate if ya got fog lights pop one out and rout it from there rather then try route it around the rad. i'd make brackets personally but probally would zip tie it in place while making the brackets as impaitant lool

Cable tied under the bottom slam panel is good, just don't drive through deep puddles.

    It's a W(2000) reg 1.1i Desire

Would rather leave both fogs in so looks like the bottom slam is the way to go.

Avoid deep puddles to prevent water being sucked in? Or to prevent the cold air feed from being ripped off?

Wouldn't have thought the open cone filter would produce enough suction to suck water up?

...especially with the small gap between the end of the cold air feed and the filter

It's not a case of it sucking it in by force, if your driving along and hit standing water it will splash up the caf and possibly into the engine.
