Just adjusted my rear brakes today. new shoes on and replaced cylinders as both were leaking. Adjust the shoes up so both wheels turn with hand force but with some resistance and bled the rears. i noticed that when I adjusted the shoes out about 4/5 clicks worth on the adjuster , the pistons in the wheel cylinders didnt extend to stay in contact with the shoes.
The brakes feel fine and with a good handbrake but shouldn't the cylinder pistons allways be in contact with the shoes ?
