Shit job (needs sorting)

  1. #1
    Hi guys.

Just got my car back from the garage and found out when the guy lowered my car which was supposed to be 50mm all round hes done it the notch method. Which i know from reading up on here is the completly the wrong way.

He has also only taken one alloy off when lowering it (not sure if this makes a diffrence).

I was just wondering how can i get this sorted asap to avoid any problems in the future was considering taking it to a citroen specialist and getting them to re-do it correctly and renew the seals.......What are your suggestions?

    Regards
    Critch

Just fishing for some input really, if i take it to the likes of ABP motorsport or Demon tweeks and ask them to re-do it this coming week would it be ok or is there somthing else im missing that will need to be looked into?

just take it to someone who understands basic vehicle engineering rather then someone who's heard about it from a mate in the pub. Various people, ourselves included,on here who can carry this sort of work out for reasonable prices, maybe someone local to you? try your regional section.

take it to tweeks mate, they will no doubt sort it out, but get a price 1st, because they can be expensive sometimes..

Any idea what they would charge to raise the back and check the work over mate?

Obviously pricing to fix it would be after they have raised and found out whats wrong with it, I would guess since its only been lowered for 1 day that there shouldnt be any problems it will just be a take the torsion bars out and put them in correctly?

to do the rear correctly, check for damage, refit torsion bars correctly,60 pounds.
