Important! : Can you buy...

    a release baring on it own? or do you have to buy the whole clutch??

    Only reason i ask is im changing my gear box as its whinning...but my R.B is making a racket, and my clutch iesnt that old...so no point in me changing the clutch to, i just though as i had the box out i could just put a new R.B on...but cant find on for sale, any links would be very apprectiated.

    Not 100% but i dont think you can.... I bought a new clutch and the release bearing was wrong so i had to get another hole clutch kit as i couldnt get the bearing separate. The clutch plate and everything was the same.

    Just rung them, they cant get one only have a part no. its not on their system for pricing/sale, any other ideas guys?

    Get a yellow pages and look for part distributors mate

    im sure GSF parts is one too

    or ebay has one

    Yes you can get release bearings seperate mate

    Citroen/Peugeot supply them.

    £35 from peugeot iirc.
    I need one but buying a clutch kit aswell.

    yes you can ,but it would be unusual to only need the brg --the noise could be worn fingers on the cover --make sure you get the correct one ,there have been 3 different shaped ones --different shape fingers on dif ages of clutch covers .
    fit wrong type and the cover will be worn out very quickly
