Problem selecting 1 and 2 gear

   I have a problem, 1 and 2 gear are very hard to engage, I have to real push it to me (to the left, Portuguese left dirver) so I can put 1 and 2, and sometimes when runing in 5 at high speeds and returning to 2 and 1 it doenst go left, have to put it in 5 again and the it goes to the left, also has a lot of play even in gear.
   
   gear linkage problem?

   Has the linkage been off any time recently? If so it may have been connected back up wrong

   again sounds like linkages.

   really does sound like linkages. mine went about 3 months ago same problem
