I've got a 1.1L and to be honest the seats are pants. Are the seats in the VTR/VTS more supportive and comfortable and will they fit straight into my 1.1L beasty?
VTR/VTS seats - comfy?

#2VTR seats are pants tbh. VTS seats are better.
Got in Toyah's car after owning my Clio a few week now though and her VTS seat's felt really hard compared lol. -
#3I'm guessing the mounting is the same but do you know? Didn't realise the vts & vtr had different seats...mind you I know naff all about saxo's as I've only just got one!

#4get 106 leathers....

#5I had pretty much this excact thread about 24 hours ago, I just ended up buying black half-leather VTR seats, they are 20 x better then my 1.1i shitty seats, for the front two, back bench, and doorcards for a nifty £50, decent buy, worth it tbh
-
#6Cheers for that, will see whats about. I'm not in a rush, but they need sorting.
-
#7Must have been re-trimmed then because VTR seat's weren't half leather.Quote:I had pretty much this excact thread about 24 hours ago, I just ended up buying black half-leather VTR seats, they are 20 x better then my 1.1i shitty seats, for the front two, back bench, and doorcards for a nifty £50, decent buy, worth it tbh

106 and Saxo seats all use the same mounting brackets so they will all inter-change to whoever asked above. -
#8Oh right, Half leather was a quicker way of saying for leather around back and sides then lol, I'm sure its off a VTR? Might have been a vts, its all black with little coloured squares around it all...Ill put pics up laterQuote:Must have been re-trimmed then because VTR seat's weren't half leather.

they're quite bucket'y compared to the standard 1.1s interior, and are really comfy!

#9vts seats in my vtr, with omp harnesses. does the job for me matey until i can afford cheap bucket for proper harness use
-
#10I got the 2003 VTR seats when I had my VTR, alot better than the 2000 VTR seats, more comfy and held me better for some reason. They were so good, id say I would consider selling my GTI Half Leathers to buy a set of VTR seats again imo
-
#11It's not leatherQuote:Oh right, Half leather was a quicker way of saying for leather around back and sides then lol, I'm sure its off a VTR? Might have been a vts, its all black with little coloured squares around it all...Ill put pics up later

Plastic lol
They're alright seats but they start to rock about after a while and the back rests are quite unstable after a few thousand miles. Same seats were in mine as standard.
Not the worst seat's out there though. -
#12Oh right lol, looks and felt like leather so assumed it was aha...yeh ones I was gonna get off an older vtr seats felt like they were rocking a little, so went to a newer one and these seemed fine.. Either way I'm sure they are better then the crappy 1.1 interior! lol

#14Vtr/s are much more comfy than the standards 1`s you feel it on long journey`s.

#26Cheers for all the feedback, looks like late VTS seats are the way to go. If they are airbagged presumably I won't be able to connect them anyway will I?
-
#27these are the VTR seats and interior i bought yesterday for £52.88
they're pretty damn comfy compared to my standard 1.1i's and look ALOT better
