help on brakes

   think i need new front brake discs but only changed the pads 5 month ago so should i buy discs and pads or just discs. and does anyone know where i can get a standard set of discs from for the front of a saxo vtr x reg thanks

   Have the disks worn a groove in to the pads from a lip on the outside?
   
   If so you should change them, most people fit new pads when they do disks.
   
   Ecp, gsf any local spares place will sell the disks

   thanks for the info do you know if the kam racing group n ones are anygood and this might sound stupid but are they in a set i think they are 30 quid ish cheers

   They are for a set of two maxtorq discs. They will do the job nicely. They have a slightly higher carbon content which helps reduce noise and wear.
