Strip it or not strip it??

    i have a saxo vtr and thinking about going track when i get a vts in january so i might strip my vtr on the weeked just to see what it is like soo just thinking is it worth it as in weight loss and what are people view on stripping the car?

    The whole way or keep it comfy. You need to go far enough to balance the pros against the huge list of cons

    as in u going to do just the rear seats..........

    or all seats bar drivers, door cards, soundproof, dash, spare wheel, powersteering, heter matrix.... eg.

    and go full out lol

    ermm well on the vtr what i have now i was thinking off taking the seats out door cards and all off the small stuff to see how it is and on the vts next year wasw thinking off going all out seats out door cards, roof lining, flocked dash omp steering wheel spare wheel out bucket seat/gti leather on money,relocate battery, cage it, carpet and soo on all out really just thinking it is worth all the effort!

    Just hold off for the vts mate, you will feel it more

    and go for bucket seats leather one are very heavy

    If you want to see what stipping the vts will be like then take out the rear seats.

    That way you will get an idea of what its like and can always put the parts back in when the time comes to sell it.

    save ur time and when u get the vts strip it like mad lol,

    Less Weight = More Power ( well not really but same difference )

    You will feel it more in the handling, not as big a jump in straight line performance.
    Makes it much more fun round the twisty's
