Important! : Struggling to get into 1st and 2nd gear hellp

i have a 106 diesel

i recently changed my clutch and release bearing around 3k ago

over the past 2 weeks i have been struggling to get in into 1st and second gear. its goes in but forced in. when its struggled to go in the box wines upto around 2/3k rpm, i can get into 3rd 4th 5th and reverse no problem at all.

this only happens at times i can sometimes jump in the car and it just drives normal no issues first and second and no wining noise at all then i come to lights or a junction and the problem comes up again struggle to get into first and second

i dont think its the box because it works one time then not the next and the noise is only happening when i struggle but its not a terrible noise only when im low revs.

what do you think it could be? its gradually getting worse

gear linkages i would say..... 1st and 2nd are link together 3rd and 4th and so on... i asked a mechanic ages ago about stick changes between 1st and 2nd and they said it was gear linkages 100%.... im not sure what linkages are what but i would imagine this is ure issue mate.

i would also possibly think its that however why would it wine and make a odd noise when in 1st and second gear? surely theres not a lot of pressure on the linkages as they just move forwards and backwards i dont really want to put money into the car as its not worth much.

all other gears are fine including reverse. it only does it at times but happening a lot this week. pretty much atleast twice a day
