front windscreen wiper motor replacement

   hi ,I service and look after my mums 1.0 51 reg saxo ,its a great lil car but ! the wiper motors buggered ,only works on fast ,tried to get it off today and was stumped by the plastic shield that protects it from the rain ,anyone taken the wiper motor off before ,could you give me some usefull hints to get it off ,thanks

   theres 3 bolts/screws holding it on. one in the middle, one at each end

   remove wiper arms, remove plastic scuttle panel, undo wiper motor mounting bolts, un-plug motor and remove from car

   right how do you get the scuttle panel off thats were we're stuck it seems to be wrapped around the wiper stubs ,theres a panel thats over the wiper motor then the plastic panel that covers the whole scuttle plate,lower windsreen of the car do i need to take this off ,because i unscrewed it and it wouldnt budge

   yes it needs to come off, sometimes a bit stubborn to shift but be careful as they are really brittle. Have you taken the tiny nuts off that hold the plastics on?
