1.4 westcost reving?

   As title says, any idea's anyone?? It doesn't do it all the time but atleast once a day. It will go to around 2500rpm and will go if you switch the car off and back on again. There are also no fault codes present.

   I have the same car and mine use to do it. Try the idle air control vale. let me know how you get on.

   Yeah thats what was going to try first anyway, will let you know as soon as it is done
