How do u know wen ur vts bottom end is giving up ?

   if its blue smoke then its more than likely your stem seals, if its black then your burning to much oil and if its white then it'll be your head gasket, but as said above it'll be knocking like crazy and have hesitation when trying to give it some

   no smoke of any colour which is good,
   
   ive just been out for a blast and i think it could be the hydrolic tappets or my manifold rattling

   if its tappets then you'll hear like a clicking noise that starts off quiet and slow then as you hit the loud pedal it should get louder and faster, had noisey tappets on my old vts, just off the covers off and lubed them up and gave the car an oil change problem went away
