Cam Recommendations

    Hi friends

    So I'm finally back on track with my VTR Build, I'd just like opinions and recommendations on Cams please

    Basically I want a lumpy Idle and power from around 2,500 onwards

    I don't care about stalling at lights and stuff, this car isn't an everyday car and I love Lumpy Idles lol.

    I have looked about and I know what's about but if anyone has cammed their VTR feedback would be great

    whats your budget, as only so wild you can go before needed ITB's, a decent management. And are you dedicated to wanting to stay 8v?

    Most people go for the newman ph3 camshaft, which basically makes the VTR the speed of a standard VTS till top end where the VTS still tends to pull away.
    So by the time you have spent all that money, you could have got a VTS engine and box in at half the price.

    I know lol thing is I've stripped this VTR Engine and cleaned it and spent a lot of time on it I wasn't going to use the standard ECU as it is messed up I was going to buy a new one and I did want Throttle bodies but I can't find any for VTR (Maybe I'm being stupid) I was going to spend £200 on the Camshaft.

    I am going for low end power as I don't speed (70mph) Plus the head is port and polished, flywheel lightened Etc... If I didn't already spend so much time on this Engine I'd go 16V Lol.
