filter onto westcoast

i was looking to put my filter on my 1.4 westcoast but was going to take my old air box out and put filter coming off that pipe which connedts to old filter box but there are some black pipes which come from my rocker cover and connect to it can i just remove these as on my new rocker cover it has a filter come out of it anyway so any pics or help would b useful thanks tom
