VTR mk2 manifolds, does only the raceland 4-2-1 have problems fitting

    Is it just the 4-2-1 raceland manifold that creates the oil filter problem or is there other manifolds?

    The reason I am askin is a lad I know is selling a 4-1 manifold but he does not know the brand

    no mate, with most manifolds you will have to move the filter..

    getting around this is easy so its not an expensive problem

    It's not the expense it's having to change it back to the original for the original manifold for mot time, so what manifolds can I have where I don't have to change the oil filter?

    Piper/GMC 4-1 mani is a straight fit. Also janspeed 4-1 with sports cat is straight fit.

    thats why you sell your cat, and get a mk1 cat and centre section, then you dont have to swap the mani for mots, 10 min job swapping under the car cats, alot longer with manifolds

    this one will fit mate its a 4-2-1 and you dont need to move the filter

    so what your saying is for exsample raceland 4-2-1 manifold with mk1vtr cat and standard exsaust for mots, and that will pass??

    and will the lambda sensors go into the manifold so i have no engine management light?

    you will need a lamba sleeve from GMC or a diy job, to read clean air, the 1st sensor 1 will plug into mani as usual. and just bosh the cat on afterwards
