Hello there,
As you can see I'm new to the forums, and pretty nooby when it comes to cars.
I'm the owner of a Saxo 1.1i VTR Replica, and last weekend I was about to jump in the car to take it on a trip up to Swansea, and as I was about to leave I filled the water up. About 11 miles into the journey all the gears started getting slow, and the temperature light kept coming on and off and eventually when I came to a roundabout all the dash lights would come on. I trundled on anyway thinking nothing of it, unless I realised the car was struggling at 40 MPH. I pulled into a lay by, whipped the bonnet up and there was WHITE SMOKE pouring from the engine, I removed the water lid and it just pressurised everywhere.
I managed to get the car back home, but when ever I try starting it, it struggles and WHITE SMOKE comes from the exhaust. I want to get it checked out preferably tomorrow, but I don't know how i'm going to manage getting it too and from the garage as it only drives for about 5 minutes, and there's no toe bar on it. So for now information would be much appreciated.
Thanks boys and girls!
