£20 of fuel only gets 150 miles (vtr)

  1. #1
is this good or poor, no thrashing about or nothing just normal driving.
my manifold is blowing from a gasket (ordered part should able to fit it soon)
would this affect fuel intake? as its before the lambda sensor? and also would a hole in the air intake pipe (some chav before done this) effect it also?
    thanks in advance

    i get less than that in my 1.1 . . .

i get 70 from a tenner driving nice or 50 if i give it a bit of a spank, last month filled up to top, 55 quid got me 330 miles, so tbh sounds good to me

    £15 saxo furio 110miles
  22. #22
I got 15miles to half a tank on my 1.1.

My VTR does more, not sure how much but half a tank lasts a week of going to work and back lol. (About 14miles each way)

And you have a hole in your Air Intake? That will mess it up because it will suck in dirt stuff... So your air filter is ineffective...
