cost!

   hi there could anyone tell me how much a head gasket cost to get done, as think mines gone! and how much a vts converstion costs from a vtr? need to way up costs. any help would be much appreciated cheers!

   head gasket with head skim,new bolts,cam belt etc 300 pounds, cost of S conversion depends if the engine you get matches your car ie,loom and wether it comes with un-locked ECU. As a guide, we charge 300-400 pounds for full conversion kit dependant on mileage and would want 250 pounds fitting including new cam belt and oil/filter change prior to installation

   cheers for that! been told about 600 for head g to get done which i thought was bit pricey. keep getting a airlock even though bled twice now and changed thermo but temp gauge is staying where it should be now! guess it most have gone just what i need before xmas lol!!

   ps if i had a vts engine put in would i need to get new exhaust etc?

   wouldn't neccesariliy need a new exhaust, just the downpipe. 600 to do a HG, lol

   i know 600!!!!!!!!!! not sure what to do anymore theres never a time when car runs with no problems lol
