Alright everyone
quick question, how hard is it to fit bonnet raisers?? A quick guide would be kool thanks
Bonnet raisers
-
#1
-
#2pretty easy to fit just takes time to adjust the bonnet so it fits correct with a even gap all around. buy a decent set though as one of my mates got some and they were just really thick washers and the bonnet moved around on them.
-
#3You do mean raisers and not lifters to hold the bonnet up eh?
-
#4Where the back of the bonnet it slightly lifted, thought they were could bonnet raisers???
-
#5yh your right mate they are called raisers. and just get a decent set and you will be fine.
-
#6Where from eBay??
-
#7anywhere not really in fashion now so you mite struggle to find some you mite have to get some made.
-
#8Ok mate thanks for your help
-
#9How do i know they are a good set??
-
#10will be a full aluminium plate and not just somthing that looks like a few washers stuck together.
-
#11Ok mate, you've been great help thanks
-
#12no probs. if you cant find any you could always make some out of 2 peices of aluminium and a saw and a drill just get some longer bolts and washers from b&q mate.
-
#13Oh really I'll look in to it sounds like a plan
-
#14ebay, bought some for a mate, £4.99 free p&p, just standard non polished inch raise.
-
#15oh n u should have two bolts either side of the bonnet, at the top near the window, unbolt both bolts, lift the bonn
et up n slide the raiser n washer into place then use the new bolt n put it in n secure it.
then repeat for the next 3 n u have a raised bonnet
