Right, have got the 16v pistons and valves out but both are heavilly coked up, have purchased valve grinding sticks but need to clean up the part they suck too and also the pistons, whats the best way to do this, as in products to use?
Best way to clean pistons/valves?

#2Diesel

#3Come again?
-
#4A good soak in diesel
-
#5Ah right, will that loosen it so it will wipe off? Got some tool cleaner called "jizer" by Swarfega, any experience?
-
#6No experience of that specifically but swarfega is excellent
-
#7nitromoors paint stripper is way better than diesel. just put in a tub leave 15 min's and rinse off with water and they come up like new.
-
#8I didnt know if nitromors was too good? didnt want to cause pitting or damage.
-
#9I personally wouldn't use nitromors
-
#10Ive see people strip paint off bikes with it to repaint and it caused damage.
-
#11dont clean you valves with that shit lol, will fuck fuck the seating on the valve head,
-
#12So is the diesel the safest bet? The Jizer says it can be used to clean engines, but not sure if it ment internals lol
-
#13Diesel is perfectly safe to use though will not always do the job.
-
#14i use parrafin or petrol on engine parts, but valve grime is pretty hard tbh, on the piston side im carefull with a small wire brush, on the seat side im carefull with a stiff toothbrush or similar

#15Any suggestions AXracing?

#16jizer is excellent stuff, you cant go wrong with it tbh
