   looking to 16v my vtr,been offered a p reg gti engine and was wondering if it would be able to go into my x reg vtr

   no idea lol all i know is that i have the clocks with 140 on lol

   doesnt mean anything, they could have been changed at some point, its a fairly common mod, ppl like the 140's more
   
   youd have to check your ecu and see how many plugs it has, it will go in no bother, but whether or not a loom will be plug and play or need wiring in will be a diff matter, 16v crossover looms are hard to find

   its off a mate you see he is having his gti sent to spooks for bodies and that and has no need for the old engine and wanting to do,would i be able to splice the looms? or is that a stupid question lol
