Temperature sensors, are these right?

   Found these two ebay items:
   1338a7
   1338a6
   
   Looking to replace the temperature sensor on my 52 plate saxo vtr. Silver toped (third of the vtr engines). Do i need both/can both be applied to my car ha. Fairly positive 1338a7 is the one to the right of the rocker cover/head etc and the one i definitely need to fix the problem. Not sure what (if anything/exists) the other does to my car.
   
   Reason for replacing is to hopefully stop 'random multiple misfires'

   Pretty sure your temperature sensor is around/on the thermostat. Also pretty sure its 1338A6 (light blue colour).

   Sod that go to a motor factors and ask them for one theyll know what you're on about and it will be cheaper I paid six quid for mine temp sensor cannot cause a misfire though only rich running and flooding during warm or hot starting

   Cant temperature sensors cause rich running? The misfire mostly happens in cold weather (ie these cold starts) was ok over summer apart from the odd spurt of misfires.

   Also! The revs arent constant, so this is why i assume temp sensor as ive been told that its the problem. But which do i need?
