gear box help

i have a 1.1 and was wandering can u have a 1.4 gearbox in it what difference will it make and do peugeot 1.1/1.4 fit aswell thanks tom

You canfit any saxo/106 gearbox but I would advise on a 1.1 box as a replacement. A vtr box on a 1.1 would be aweful because the gear ratios are longer. In the link above, I posted another link to a thread with all the ratios in so you can compare for youself, and see which box you want to use
