leek in passenger footwell?

   i seem to have developed a huge leek in in the passenger footwell! must off happened over night with heavy rain fall any ideas. thank you

   your drainpipes from your sunroof could be blocked and will cause a flood or your heater matrix is leaking - but if you said you had heavy rain then its most likely to be coming from your drainpipes or around your sunroof area check to see if your ariel is attachted tight as they attend to let water in from there

   brill! sorry to be an idiot but drainpipes? and how would i check heating matrix for leaking? and i think i may have a dodgy sun roof as i get water gathering in the light?? cheers

   oh by the sounds of it your heater matrix will be fine- if you get water through into your light then theres a leak by your sunroof- im not 100% sure on how to check or flush out the drainpipes but water that sits on and around your sunroof will drain through a hole to the bottom of your car so water dont gather on top but sometimes they can get bunged up with shit think mine has as my leaks to but aint got round to it- but think to check them there you gotta remove head lining or them plastic on your pillers- but need someone to say for sure if thats true as i aint 100% sure mate hope that helps though, might be worth undoing your ariel and re-sealing it back on- as they do attend to leak alot

   My footwell was wet the other day too! took the interior light apart and it was wet where my aerial is, it didn't have a washer on it, but i have put one on now and everythings fine.
