   Just received a standard vtr spoiler for my mk 2 vtr the one with the screws to hold it in place on the window and have just realised my car doesnt have any holes in the rear window . Should it have?

   maybe your glass has been changed :/ you will have to drill them yourself which is Extremely risky as they shatter easly, your better off getting a second hand VTR mk1 glass with the holes already in.

   Mate, use some Tigerseal on there, thats what most people use. But holes should have allready been in the glass, unless was changed.
