random!

   hi i know this sounds abit random but how long should a garage take to sort out head gasket? took mine in this morn and was finished by 5, picking up in morn. last time they had it 2 and abit days this included sikimming!
   any thoughts would be great! thanks in advance

   Doubt its been skimmed and pressure tested in that amount of time tbh

   didn't think so! thing is had head gasket done bout just less than two years ago at same garage and olny done less than 10k since and never thrash it!
   mate told me should be torqed down after 1k miles which they never did or told me was needed is this true?

   Should do it within a day,
   I did a rover 75 not to long ago..
   collect the car at 10... by 1 o'clock head was being skimmed.. was all together and done by 6.. thats with brakes and other bits... dropped it back to customer at 7
   DOnt take long at all..
