Powersteering pumps

I hope someone can help me i have a mk2 vtr and the power steering went few months bk, but im wondering if a pump off a furio will fit and work? Hmm help would b apreciated

if someone could help me with mine.
My pump went a few months back and then I have recently got it replaced
like for like
but it works when it wonts to
could it be a relay or...is this new pump dead aswell?
Just don't really no what I'm looking for

Its unlikely it will be a relay to be honest. When you say replaced like for like do you mean it was replaced for a new or exchange pump or one from a scrappy?

If you haven't heard it before; a simple way to test if its a sticking diaphragm - when its next not working, tap the pump with a hammer a few times on the right hand side as you look at it from the front (passenger side to drivers side) - you might need someone to steer full lock right to left and back at the same time. You should hear it groan and hopefully it will start working again. Time for a recon pump
