#2I've got a blue saxo furio just like yourself,
and it's all honestly down to the way you drive. If I rag it, I notice a big drop in fuel lol.
I usually average around 38 MPG -

ohh thats okay thenn
thought it was drinking it, cause i got about 40 - 50 mpg, up hills usally waste more fuel but saxos are only 840kg lol could push them up haha
-
#4Thats decent mpg tbf mate
-
#7Or you can De-cat it , for extra crap fuel consumption, though i think the lower mpg is down to using the loud pedal more just for the noise tbh
-
#8Lol true. The trouble with exhausts & decats is the noise, you like it so you play with the noise pedal alot which used more fuel

Worth it imo though lol -
#9lol tell me about it, thats the only thing stopping me de-catting mine
-
#101 of mine has a 4-2-1 and de-cat
Its not good, noise pedal is amazing but you could drill a hole in the fuel tank and it wouldnt go down as fast lol
-
#11thats ok mpg that tbh I remember when mine was a 1.4 it was decent to

but in the gti now averaging 33mpg which ain't bad considering in town I drive normal but on duals im doing about 80 -
#12but for some reason i kinda like mine quiet haha was thinking about just an air filter but cant be bothered with the back box & ect
-
#13I bet you'l buy an induction kit and like the sound and then progress onto a backbox, then a system, trust me you'l want more noiseQuote:but for some reason i kinda like mine quiet haha was thinking about just an air filter but cant be bothered with the back box & ect
, lol true sam, i took my car down the pod and only did 10 runs and used qaurter of a tank or more, i actually felt guilty for thrashing my car so bad though
