best way to clean lambda sensor...

   as title says whats the best way it alright to use some carb cleaner on it?

   I didn't know you could clean them. Is this usually successful?

   According to the bottle of injector cleaner I am looking at it also cleans the lambda sensor .You just put it into the petrol and it cleans.I havnt tried it yet so cant comment!

   cleaned it with engine gunk in the end, still works fine

   Just out of interest what happens when the lambda sensor needs cleaning?Does it run rich? as mine is running rich at the mo

   So I guess you don't remove the sensor and physically put something directly on it then? You just put the stuff in the fuel?
