Important! : saxo starting problems.

   ive had my vtr a few days now and its just passed its mot.
   untill today it has started every time no problem.
   the only logical explanation that i can think of it that as i had a raised bonnet when i washed her this morning water had got under the bonnet and made something wet.
   i tried bump starting her and using jump leads with no luck
   All of the correct lights light on the dash and everything electric inside works
   
   can anyone help pleaseeeee?

   Does is make any noise when trying to start? (i.e. does the starter motor engage)

   yeah i tries to but wont turn over, thought it was imobliser at first

   Surely if the coil pack had gone, it would still turn over?
   
   Personally I would try the starter motor. As someone is trying to start your car, give the starter motor a good whack to see if it will work
