Quick Question about thermostats

Hi.
Quick question regarding thermostats but i'll explain the story first.
My friend crashed his 1.1 51 plate Saxo Desire 3 Door.
He has a 1.4 auto 02 plate saxo Desire 5 door. (Spares only)
He crashed his 1.1 but its 80% mostly cosmetic damage, the radiator was destroyed, the thermostat was shattered as well.
He needs this car back on the road by monday, and we've been working on it today repairing all the cosmetic damage, and were just wondering if the 1.4 thermostat will fit on the 1.1 engine? Same with the radiator? What kinda temperature will this be running at, and how difficult will this be to bleed?

The radiator im not really too worried about, pretty sure its the same size.
its more the thermostat im worried about, will the 1.4 thermo fit the 1.1 engine?
hes unemployed....and i be damned if im buying him anything for his car, im fixing the bloody thing!

im pretty postive it does fit mate, it should be fine. the radiator will also be fine. just drain it, connect it all up and then bleed the cooling system once its all connected back up and with fluid in there

Update:
Thermostat fitted, cooling system bled, taken for a short 20 mile drive holding 60mph all the way, everything working fine
