heat shield

   Hello all,
   Basically I broke the 10 mm pins that hold the heat shield on just below the gear stick .
   Do I need this on for the mot ??

   What do you mean by heat shild mate?the only 1 I know of is the manifold heat shield in the engine bay which you don`t need for the MOT.

   The one above the centre section .

   No, the one under the car directly below the gear stick.

   This happened to me and mine passed its MOT just the other week so it should be fine

   no mate you dont need it you mean the one under the gear stick? i not had mine on since i fitted the supersprint and its passed ever since.
