Important! : driveshaft or diff??????????????

   the splines aren't catching in the gearbox(passenger side) unless i pull the shaft out a little bit, any one got and ideas what it could be?????????

   is it a new shaft, not sure if its the right answer for your question, but there are 2 different types of driveshafts, striaght amd tappered ends, i think the change over was about a year after the mk2's come out, so if you have and early mk 2 it maybe the wrong shaft

   yeah a new shaft (off a 106), i know about the tappered bits but its the inner end that wont catch the box untill pulled out 2cm, not the outer, im pretty sure the inner end are all the same arent they?? oh yeah its a ax gt with a saxo vtr engine and box
