Best thing to clean oil?

   I need to clean a crap load of oil off my block and gearbox, been there ages illd imagine, is fairly thick, whats best to get it off.
   Any ideas ?

   A good degreaser. Something like GUNK will do the job.

   i use brake/clutch cleaner...to clean, everything.

   Swarfega Oil & Grease Remover from B&Q mixed 50/50 with water to thin it down in an old spray bottle will work a treat

   I use the gunk spray to clean up my engine bay.
