spraying advice

   Im going to spray my center console and vents white at the weekend and was wondering wether it would be best to use a diffrent colour primer, other than white say a very light grey so when it comes to spraying the colour on i will be able to see better where i have covered, or would this effect the colour of the white when finished?

   i have done both, used grey primer and whire primer, doesn;t really make a differance really as end of the day its a rattle can job.
   but grey does make it easier to see where u have covered and where u haven;t.

   Thanx for quick reply, halfords paint do the job for this? Or should i be looking for somthing else?
