Hi a couple of weeks ago i thought i heard a knocking when driving round a left corner... the a couple of days ago it got noticeable but not to bad i didn't have time to check it out... i have just been out and the noise is now worse... i checked under the passenger side as i thought it was coming from there but i think it is the drivers side as the metal clip has come of and there is oil on the back of the disk and that general area... any help?

Sounds like your Clip has come off your gator, the grease has leaked out and the CV joint has worn. You can try packing it with grease again and putting another Clip on it but if it's knocking it sounds like your probably gonna be forking out money for a new one

breaker bar and the correct socket, if you can take the center cap off the wheel and loosen that nut whilst the cars on the floor it will be abit easier and probably better then haven someone apply brake pressure to stop the shaft turning.

Take the driveshaft out, re pack it with the correct crease and put the rubber back on with the clip, how ever your driveshaft might be on the way out, as mine started knocking and was shagged, get it checked

    agreed!!

theres no need to replace the whole driveshaft. just put some LM grease in there.

be warned it could get a bit messy though lol
