i been looking at some team dynamic 17 inch rims for my furio and wanted to know if i need spacers or not the car is lowered 40 mm all round can anyone help me
do i need spacers
-
#1
-
#2Depends on the fitment of the wheels!
Go for 15" better size for a saxo! -
#3wat do mean fitment of the wheels
-
#4When i had 17"s i had to remove the arch linings and use some 6mm spacers (just to stop the wider tyres from rubbing).
Hope that helps. -
#5that helps massively thanks mate did it not scrape on the arches at all just the liners
-
#6No they didn't i had to have low profile tyres though.
I think i had 205/40/17s on (from memory, was long time ago).
It would rub with anymore than 2 people in the car, or over speedbumps, or when the car was on full lock. -
#7ok that helps me alot thanks mate and thats wat size they are anyway did it rub after u took the liners out tho
-
#8Ye Paul I have 205/40/17's on mine

Get very minor scrubbing on full lock, but does catch a bit when people in the baclk (only done once
) Had to take arch liners off too but dont leave it open, you will end up with alot of hassle later
-
#9wat kind of hassle will be caused due to removing liners
-
#10Nothing aslong as you cover up any gaps. The liners are there to stop muck/dirt/water etc getting in. Remove the liners it opens the gaps. Dont really need to explain any further lol. Just make sure any gaps are covered, and any metal is under-sealed
-
#11thanks mate that seems obvious wen i think about it but it helps me alot thankyou
