hard to start vtr

    hi i have a mk2 vtr and some times it takes ages to start,and when it does it revs to 3000 revs on its own 4 about 5 mins then comes down slowly,other times its spot on and fine ,any suggestions???

    Idle Control Valve? ECU Coolant Temperature Sensor?
