lowering fron 40mm...will i hit bumps?

  1. #1
basically am aiming to get 40mm springs, seems like the right way to go for looks and performance...i mentioned before if i would be hitting bumps but were a few different answers...

so if im going reasonably slow, at 40mm is there any chance of me hitting bumps or kurbs even? the back will be lowered 50 ish mm maximum...

cheers guys sorry if its in the wrong section!

They try not to build as many of these in the road as they can... But if the odd kerb in the road pops up - You should be fine!

40mm isnt overly low, so you'll be fine. I'm 50mm and can still get over speedbumps - just a little stiff!

As above, you can go about 60mm and hardsly ever hit anything unless you live somewhere full of speedbumps.

Give me a shout if you need it lowered!

i occasionally scrape a curb when i cba to reverse park... but im 50mm and its only slight rubbing, depends on the curb tho.

speed humps are fine if u do like 15mp tops over them
