flocked dash

   hi all
   
   i have a omp weld in cage its the dash doger one, the problem then is its been welded in but at some point i would have liked to have had my dash flocked will i be able to get it out any way ? or flock it while it in, car at the garage at the moment so cant see the clearence ?

   Your not getting that out, i dont know about flocking in the car but i expect it cant be done or people wouldnt bother taking them out for it, something about heat treating it! And you wont get it out around the cage! Sorry mate!

   If you're not worried about asthetics, you can do what i have done. I have made 2 cuts on my dash. So the centre section slides out avoiding the dash and the side parts stay behind

   cant see y it cant be done in the car wide vtr turbo has had his cage flocked so cant imagine why cant be done in the car, ppl do them out the car as its just easyer.

   He had to respray the interior though, because bits of flock stuck to the paint over the inside

   didt they not mask his car though? but answeryes u can do it in the car but may go all over and ruin the rest

   okay thanks i dont think i will do it in the car as i have resprayed most of the inside of my car, (adam) do you have any pictures of how yours looks i get what you mean though seems alot more simple to do than making a mess every where
