engine removal

1. vtr2010 L-plater Joined: Aug 2010 southampton Posts: 40 2002 saxo vtr

   i have a mk2 vtr 02 plate, can the engine be removed with the box still in place,
   and the refit it without removing the box.
   has anyone got a tips/or advice, i have a new lump to fit a the weekend.

   best hint i can give you is take the box out with the engine, even if you can get the engine out seperately you'll wish to the gods you hadn't when it comes to getting it back in

   Hell of a lot easier to remove the box at the same time! Cant see why you wouldnt want to, would make the task easier, and probably a lot faster!
