Crank shaft sensor???

   Battery died this morning in the cold weather jumped it and later got new battery for it. However, after jumping it the engine management light came on and now it will not rev over 3000 due to the limiter. Took it to garage, no codes appeared but he is sure its the crankshaft sensor. Any opinions on this?

   Oh i have a car, just wont go over 3ooo revs. At least it disciplines me haha. How much you want?
